Nu Beginnings!

 Thoughts for today :

I was worried for a few days after watching some edutaiment style vids regarding the whole 'The Internet is being taken over by killer zombie corporate nazis!' thing that the internet as we know it may well be completely obfuscated by the media corps and just reduce and reduce into being a huge limited interactive bilboard covered in watchful big brother eyes.

'Neigh!' says Tom Green's hobby horse turned internet phenomenon channel.

'Neiiiighhhhh!' *clippity clop* opposes his whacky stead.

Hyperbole asside, it's a fantastic website in terms of amassed comedy content, unexpectedly cool celebrity guests and exciting unscripted, unedited (bar the camera cuts) entertainment.

The internet channel even broadcasts on some tv stations across Ireland, Canada, America and some other surprising nations unmentioned.

The early version of the show was more full of swearing and family-unfriendly stunts but with the tv interes there is a much more formalised show. This is not to say it's any way similar to a normal tv show, just less (yes, there is a still visisble amount) of f-bombs etc.

  • Cam-Phone-Shopping

Probably not what you're thinking.

I came up with a nicer way, for me, to know what I need when shopping.

I usually don't bother with a list and just expect myself to remember what I need to buy which just turns to chaos. I often buy something I already have at home and end up with maybe 3 bags of pasta and a million tins of leading to bizarre meals having to be made to use up this kind of excess guff.

You've probably already guess what I have just recently tried no doubt. I take a photograph with my phone's camera of my cupboard and then of my freezer drawer then simply check the pictures at the shop to see what I need.

You may be asking 'why not just write a list ?'. Well, dear reader, that is not the purpose of this tool. This is simply to stop me from buying extra crap and help me think up items I may see that I don't have. Also, I don't write lists. And shush.

  • Thoughtful Doodlings

I have been recently writing short stories and poems in a little book I bought for drawing in. All of the texts have sketches associated but I can't be bothered to scan them in so I'm going to, for now, add a section for my writings, here.

Well, that's all for today, Good Bye Readers! Have Fun!
