Thoughts for today : I thought I might record a song for to go with the blog. It's maybe not realtive but it's an acoustic version of Machine Gun, a song for which I'm trying to add the current instrumental track to the Daniel Pratt Studio (1) page of the music section. (I promise I'll learn to write shorter sentences for this blog some day!) I thought if I try and do a recording for each blog and also add it to the Blog section of the music page (which I've just inviented now in my head), I could have extra fun and incentive to add to my site. I might even see if I can get guest folk to add tracks. Anyway here's the track : PLAY - Black book of imagination
I have a black book of things I've been drawing and writing recently that I started, much like this site, to spur on my creativity I've maybe lacked and lost slightly after moving to London for this year. One of the 'poems' I wrote in it comes with a drawing and I wanted to add it to the Scribblins page as a full scan scan but for now I'd like to share the text as it sums up why I'm doing most of this : 'Oy!' said the cat, on my bed, in my head. 'Take that poem of a thought of me out of your head!' 'It's OK' I tell him 'It's out now' 'I've put it in my book' 'even this bit?' he asks me. 'Yes.' While I'm reading it, I'll show you one more short one : 'It was never going to be an easy task' thought Gambon, as he prepared to undertake the marathon dead. That's all for today, dear reader. I'll just link that PLAY up there to the track and pop off on my merry way. Good bye and have fun. - Daniel |
